Eid-ul-Fitr, the significant religious festival observed by Muslims worldwide, is being joyously celebrated in several upazilas (sub-districts) across various districts in Bangladesh. The festivities align with the celebrations held in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, a day earlier than the nationwide observance in Bangladesh.

In Dinajpur district, Eid-ul-Fitr prayers convened in Sadar, Chirirbandar, Biral, Kaharole, and Birampur upazilas, drawing participation from numerous devout Muslims. Similarly, in Chandpur, residents from 40 villages are joining in the Eid celebrations with immense zeal and religious fervor.

Traditionally, communities in Hajiganj, Matlab North, Kachua, and Sharasti of Chandpur commence Ramadan fasting and observe Eid-ul-Fitr in harmony with Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries.

Meanwhile, in Chapainawabganj, Eid festivities are underway in two villages within Shibganj upazila. In Barishal, a multitude of individuals in areas including Barishal Sadar, Babuganj, Hizla, and Muladi are jubilantly observing Eid in accordance with the Saudi Arabian schedule.

Similarly, in Jhenaidah, numerous people in various localities such as Bonkira of Sadar upazila, Kulbaria, Narayankandi, Boithapra, Boalia Chatkabaria, Falsi, Payradanga, Nityanandapur of Harinakunda upazila, and Bhatoi of Shailkupa upazila are embracing the festivities in alignment with Saudi Arabia and other Muslim nations.

Notably, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are also celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday, adding to the global commemoration of this auspicious occasion.
